Macro is one photography genre that I have neglected so far.
I have this tendency to overlook tiny things and I need to (learn to) look deeper.

This image is tolerable I suppose, but I (will eventually) need a dedicated macro lens.

New Wembley stadium

While I was attending the royal wedding in May, I could not find reasonably priced accommodation in the centre of London so I chose the Ibis Wembley hotel. I knew it was near the stadium, but this breathtaking view from my room exceeded my humble expectations :

Flak Tower in a park in Bremen

I spent two days in Bremen in June. It is a nice city not much bigger than Tallinn and it has a picturesque Old Town, too, although not as big and well-preserved, but then again Tallinn was only bombed a couple of times in WW2.
Came across this structure in the largest park in Bremen, marked only as a grey box on the park map, I wonder why ... or maybe I don't. Not explained, but not demolished either, with time taking its toll slowly. If all buildings could age as gracefully as this one :

Medieval QPR crest ?

My first blog post is a cheeky but toothless :) attempt at some controversy. Below is a photo I took the other day while walking in Tallinn's Old Town. This medieval coat of arms immediately reminded me of the new QPR crest. Is this an amazing coincidence or blatant plagiarism by the club? You decide :)
